SS Nonwoven

● Strength and Uniformity: The SS process makes fibers finer and more evenly arranged, significantly improving the uniformity and tensile strength of the fabric surface. Compared with single-layer spunbond fabric, it has higher strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions. ● Softness and Breathability: The hand feel is softer than ordinary single-layer spunbond fabric, while maintaining good breathability, making it suitable for close-to-skin or protective uses that require comfort. ● Protection and Barrier: It has good moisture-proof and waterproof performance, and can effectively block harmful particles. After special treatment (such as three-resistance and antistatic), its isolation performance is even better. ● Hygiene and Safety: Non-toxic, non-irritating, and non-allergenic, with antibacterial properties. It meets the biocompatibility requirements for medical and hygiene products. ● Environmental Friendliness: Usually made from polypropylene (PP), it is a recyclable and environmentally friendly material. Some products can naturally decompose when placed outdoors.

● Layer structure: SS is made by hot-rolling two layers of fiber webs, "spunbond layer + spunbond layer." S stands for spunbond. Compared with single-layer S, SS has greater thickness and strength; compared with SMS, which contains a meltblown layer, it has no filtration layer, so its barrier performance is weaker. ● Raw material and hand feel: Made from polypropylene, it feels fluffy and soft, more skin-friendly than cotton. It meets food-grade raw material requirements, contains no added chemicals, and causes low skin irritation.
