Alginate Dressing is a sterile, highly conformable, absorbent primary wound care dressing used on moderately to heavily exudating wounds, such as bedsores, venous and arterial ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites， and surgical wounds.
Product Features
- The dressing can absorb 17 times its weight in exudate.
- The dressing allows the calcium and sodium ions to exchange when absorbing the liquid, which helps with wound healing.
- The dressing will not adhere to the wound when it contacts with exudate, which improves the patient's comfort.
- Alginate fibers are mixed on-site.
- The formula can be tailored to customer specifications.
